About TAGDev 2.0

TAGDev 2.0 program builds on TAGDev 1 hence the acronym (TAGDev 2.0) and is a collaborative initiative involving twelve RUFORUM member universities and the Global Confederation of Higher Education Associations for Agricultural and Life Sciences (GCHERA), and the Mastercard Foundation. The goal is to skill and empower Africa’s young people and their institutions to drive inclusive, equitable and climate resilient socio-economic transformation of their societies

TAGDev 2.0 strategically aligns to the Foundation’s charitable purpose of education and financial inclusion. It is also aligned to the Foundations Young Africa Works strategic priority areas of i) Improving the quality of education and vocational training; ii) Enabling entrepreneurship and small businesses to expand; iii) Evidence-based knowledge and innovation; and iv) Connecting and engaging with other African organizations..Read more
