Quality agricultural education

This outcome has one key activity to facilitate deepening of policy engagement. This outcome addresses the strategic barrier of weak collaboration between universities, TVETs, public and private sector and other actors to unlock work and business opportunities for young people. It aims to improve the integration and impacts of higher agricultural education and the broader agricultural ecosystem on young people work, employment role in the larger economy through agri-business. For complete transformation of the higher agricultural education sector, there is need to integrate diverse actors in the broader education and agriculture sector to train and skill young women and men for the 21st century.

Scale the transformative agricultural education and development model. This includes adaptive teaching and learning, experiential entrepreneurship, soft skills training, as well as research and innovation activities to meet community and university transformation needs and enhance relevance and work transitions of young people.
