RUFORUM works through its network of 175 member universities across 40 African countries to support the integration entrepreneurship into academic programs. We further provide resources such as mentorship, training, and funding to support student entrepreneurs.

Through seed funding, business development training, mentorship programs, and university-based innovation hubs, RUFORUM helps young entrepreneurs (Out of school youth, those in TVETs, apprenticeship etc) turn their ideas into successful businesses that address local and regional challenges.

By empowering students to create sustainable businesses, RUFORUM is driving job creation, innovation, and economic growth, helping local communities thrive while supporting Africa’s economic transformation.

RUFORUM encourages students to use research-driven innovations to solve real problems in Africa. By providing mentorship and business development support, these solutions are turned into viable businesses that positively impact communities.
